We have added SPF records and DKIM records to the DNS records of those who use our DNS (ns.52601.com and ns2.52601.com).  If you use any other DNS, this does not affect you.

An SPF record is a type of Domain Name Service (DNS) record that identifies which mail servers are permitted to send email on behalf of your domain. The purpose of an SPF record is to prevent spammers from sending messages with forged From addresses at your domain and to help your real mail get delivered like it should.

If you use any special services to send email 'from' your domain email eg. (from yourname@yourdomain.com), like an email marketing program (like Constant Contact) or a hosted shopping cart (like Mals-e), you should add them to your SPF record to make sure that mail sent by those services is not stopped as spam.

You can edit your SPF record by logging into your cpanel and clicking on the Advanced Zone Editor tool.

Again, this ONLY applies to you IF you use our domain nameservers as noted above. If you're not sure, you can look up your domain name at http://betterwhois.com and scroll down to the bottom of your results to see your name servers.

PS - an SPF redcord looks something like this, which says that the IP mentioned, and the IPs associated with your A and MX recoreds are allowed to send mail form your domain name.
v=spf1 +a +mx +ip4:67.225.165.30 ~all
