As you may remember, we disabled TLS 1.0 for all services except email on July 31, 2017. Now we must disable TLS 1.0 for email as well.
TLS 1.0 is no longer considered secure for server communication and is being phased out industry-wide. This service change will affect you if you are connecting to your email via an email program that uses TLS 1.0 to connect. Email service hosted outside of HostingCT servers are unaffected by this change.
We've put together a knowledgebase article detailing the change and any steps that may be necessary on your part.
Having a modern email program, that has been updated this year, is the best way to avoid having issues with this service change.
