Due to restrictions and spam protections, we are discontinuing email forwarding to some third-party email providers.

If you are using email forwards in your cPanel to forward your domain email (example: me@mysite.com) to Yahoo.com, AOL.com, or Hotmail.com addresses (example: me@yahoo.com), you will need to receive your domain email another way.  You have lots of options.

Options:

  1. Use our webmail at http://mysite.com/webmail
  2. Setup your domain email in an email program or phone: https://secure.hostingct.com/index.php?rp=/knowledgebase/105/Setting-Up-Email.html
  3. Send/receive domain email from within your third-party email, if they have the ability to POP secure (SSL) mail. See some links below.

Yahoo.com: https://www.solveyourtech.com/how-to-add-another-account-in-yahoo-mail/

Hotmail.com: https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/10777/how-to-add-any-pop3-email-account-to-hotmail/

Gmail.com: https://www.liquidweb.com/kb/how-to-check-pop3-email-with-gmail/

It's better to do this earlier rather than later to avoid any email downtime. All off-server forwards to Yahoo.com, AOL.com, and Hotmail.com will be removed on December 31, 2020.

If you need assistance please email support@hostingct.com with details.

Thank you.
