What is a chargeback?

A chargeback is initiated by the purchaser through their bank for any erroneous ACH charges posted to their bank account. The purchaser has 60 calendar days (beginning from the date the financial institution first made available to the purchaser its bank statement with the applicable charge transaction listed on it) to return any electronic ACH debit item erroneously posted to their bank account.
